AN ACT RELATING TO FENDERS OR COVERS OVER WHEELS ON MOTOR VEHICLES; AMENDING SECTION 49-949, IDAHO CODE, TO PROVIDE AN EXCEPTION THAT MOTOR VEHICLES OPERATED ON HIGHWAYS OF THIS STATE MUST HAVE FENDERS OR COVERS OVER ALL WHEELS. 49-949 SECTION 1: Part D Fenders or covers are not required on any modified American-made pre-1935 vehicle, or any identifiable vintage or replica thereof that is titled as a later assembled vehicle or replica and is used for show and pleasure use when such vehicle is used and driven only during fair weather on well-maintained hard-surfaced roads, 49-120 DEFINITIONS "Street Rod" means any pre-1949 vehicle which has had a significant drive train update from a more modern vehicle. Changes may include engine, transmission, rear axle, and other suspension components. The body will be, or resemble the same as the manufacturer's original issue after its first sale after manufacture. |
